Project Length: 18 Months
Project Notes: This once grand residence
had become in more recent times a boarding house and required
a large amount demolition to strip back the interior to
its former surfaces.
With clever use of empty roof spaces a third floor with
covered deck area and views of the city added a large peaceful
living space. The rear roof space was fitted with Doorma
Windows acting as an ensuite to the master bedroom. Only
the kitchen and bathroom spaces were finished in a contempory
style while the rest of the building was restored to its
former glory.
